The Demigod of Diction - Walt "Clyde" Frazier
Walt "Clyde" Frazier is hands down the best color commentator of all time (Even though I have not heard many others, I think this is a safe assumption). His extensive vocabulary, smooth tone, and penchant for rhyming cannot be matched. Not many guys throw out such poetic descriptions, utilizing words such as "percolate, neophyte, lilliputian, vociferous, loquatious, vivacious, vocacious, ostentatious, impetuous, gusto, ubiquity" etc.
